Payment & Insurance

As a provider for these PPO (Preferred Provider Organizations), we have an agreement with each company to charge covered patients no more than a specified contracted amount. While our patients may receive a discounted fee, they will never experience a decrease in the quality of care provided.

For those whose PPO plan we are not a member, or are covered by insurance other than what is listed above, we are happy to file a claim with your insurance company on your behalf. Although we may not be able to answer specific questions regarding your dental benefits, or precisely predict how much coverage may be provided for a particular procedure, we will do our best to estimate your out-of-pocket expense in advance of treatment.

It is our desire to help our patients make the most of their dental benefits. Insurance companies, however, are a business concerned with making money. As such, these companies do not hold the focus of patient care in the same manner as your dental provider. Where we may recommend a treatment based on its suitability and longevity, an insurance company may not provide benefits because there is a cheaper - albeit less healthy or effective - alternative. While we cannot guarantee insurance benefits, we can promise our patients that we will provide the highest degree of care regardless of the limitations an insurance company may impose. Any other approach would violate our ethical obligation to our patients.

When necessary, we will devise a treatment plan that is inclusive of a suitable payment plan, enabling you to achieve your oral health goals. We deliver excellent dental care at a reasonable rate. Payment is due at the time of service except in circumstances where advance arrangements have been made.

We have a specialized Medical Billing office that handles all the paperwork for you. Most medical insurance plans cover treatment for sleep apnea well, but as always with medical insurance, it depends on your deductible and plan allowances. Please call us and we will research your medical insurance to help determine your out-of-pocket costs.
