Meet Your Tulsa, Oklahoma Dentist
Dr. Angie Nauman
Dr. Nauman was raised a farm girl in Northwest Oklahoma. Beginning when she was just twelve years old, she spent the long days of summer driving a tractor. Having significantly crooked teeth that were straightened with traditional braces, Dr. Nauman loved what dentistry could do, and decided that she wanted to become a dentist when she was only in the fourth grade. From that point on, she made every academic and life decision with this central dream in mind.
Dr. Nauman attended dental school in Nebraska, where her husband had grown up. Their stay in his home state was only long enough to complete schooling, however, because the weather was just too chilly for Dr. Nauman to call this place home.
Dr. Nauman began working in the dental field in 1994, and practicing as a doctor of dental medicine in 2001. She believes in consistently learning new and innovative ways of providing care to her patients, and spends many hours every year in pursuit of continued education, receiving the advanced training needed to provide treatments such as oral appliance therapy for obstructive sleep apnea, Invisalign, laser dentistry, sedation dentistry, Six Month Smiles, and Clear Correct. Additionally, Dr. Nauman is a diplomate of the American Sleep and Breathing Association and is the only female in Oklahoma board certified in Dental Sleep Medicine with the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and the American Sleep and Breathing Academy. She also supports dental causes regularly, providing free dental services at Neighbor for Neighbor in North Tulsa.

Dr. Nauman and her husband, Nate, live with their five children in Tulsa. Dr. Nauman states, “I believe God has given us all something we are good at–something that brings God pleasure when we use it to His glory. Dentistry is my “thing” that God has blessed me with to take care of others. I love helping others and I love dentistry. I really want to change the perception of dentistry. A visit to Glisten should be fun, right? That’s my aim."
